Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea is the stage adaptation of the Jules Verne classic, and was filmed at McIntyre Hall in Mount Vernon, Washington. The play held its World Premiere at the PANAMANIA Festival for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games, before a run at the Grand Theatre in London. Reworked for young audiences, it was a hit Off-Broadway at The New Victory Theater in New York City, and has toured to 8 States and provinces including runs at Persephone Theatre in Saskatoon, Manitoba Theatre for Young People, and Cleveland's Playhouse Square.
“MAGICAL! A frisky adaptation of the Jules Verne sci-fi saga… The acting is never less than zesty and the use of projections is sometimes jaw-dropping!” (The New York Times).
“The special effects are so compelling... you can't take your eyes off the stage!” (Toronto Star)

Plunge into a multisensory adventure, with unforgettable characters, eye-popping projections, and a resonant message about protecting our oceans. Families & educators: the Broadway On Demand page also features Kidoons digital shorts based around the play, with real scientists speaking to issues facing today's oceans.
