2pm performance with pre- and post-show activities
Pre-show activities begin at 12:30pm

Explorations of marine life, ecology, and storytelling fill the lobby, in partnership with Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast, Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, Sarasota County Libraries, and South Florida Museum. There will be something for everyone in the lobby on Family Day; please join us for these exciting activities and more:

Local Artist and Educator Ann Morrison will lead a movement activity starting at 12:30 to fill the lobby with “monsters of the deep.”
Craig Francis, co-creator of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, will speak with families to share some of the background and inspiration for the play.

Families will learn more about manatees with South Florida Museum’s hands-on activities, and other interactive craft and game stations exploring the play’s themes will be available for the full 90 minutes prior to curtain.

Families will have the opportunity to meet members of the cast following the performance.
