"Make A Splash!" contest displayed at Toronto City Hall

Tuesday, December 15, 2015

In the Spring of 2015, the City of Toronto's LiveGreen program partnered with Kidoons and RBC Blue Water Project on the "Make A Splash!" contest. Students across the city were asked to submit an artwork in any form showing how waterways were important to them. The winning entry in the K-8 category was a video created by Adrienne Rigler's grade 4-5 class at Ryerson Community School. The class won a pizza party and $5000 towards a green project at school, and their video was adapted into this Grandfather Frog episode on Kidoons! In November of 2015, the winning entries were posted at Toronto's Metro Hall and then at City Hall, where Rick Miller - the voice of Grandfather Frog - went to take a look.
