Readiness for Housing: A 3-Part Series promoting independent living
AIDE Canada & Reena
Created in collaboration with AIDE Canada and Reena support services, Readiness for Housing is a three-part educational series designed to support individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, and diverse abilities as they transition from the family home to more independent living.
Each part offers practical guidance for a different audience: individuals preparing for independence, families and caregivers supporting their loved ones, and housing staff welcoming new residents.
Through accessible storytelling and engaging educational content, the series promotes dignity, personal growth, independence, and community inclusion, helping individuals and their support networks navigate this important life transition with greater confidence.
