EcoKids Battery Hero Art Contest
Kidoons worked with EcoKids and Call2Recycle to bring attention to the need for battery recycling with a great contest for Earth Day 2015!
EcoKids has partnered with Call2Recycle to host a fun new contest for students in grades K-8. The EcoKids Battery Hero Art Contest is an opportunity for students to put their creative talents to work. To boost awareness around proper battery recycling, we’re asking students to create their battery hero: a superhero who prevents batteries from filling up our landfills! Students are asked to draw their hero and tell us about the heroic work that they do.
The contest is open to all school kids K-8 (including home-schooled) across Canada, and the deadline is February 27th.

The contest runs from January 12 – February 27, 2015. The winning battery hero will star in a new episode of Paddy the Beaver on the Kidoons Network and be featured on ecokids.ca!
