Billy Mink is reading Shakespeare at Peggy’s Cove when he is transported to the Nautilus. Captain Nemo introduces him to Joe Otter, Billy’s French-Canadian counterpart. Each of them are handed missions in sonnet form - Joe’s is in English and Billy’s is in French! Reluctant at first, Billy starts to work out the cryptic clues of the sonnet, leading him to old “Chibouctou” - Halifax!
